Our thoughts

Anti White American College Assignment

The Insanity of college classrooms in modern times. Professors casually promote racism towards white Americans without consequences.

White nationalism, born in the USA, is a global terror threat – The Conversation, 3/19/19

Why is the Quality of College Education in Decline? Here is why. This assignment is complete nonsense. White Americans have the right to live in this country just like anyone else. We cannot, and MUST not promote a societal norm based on vengeance, and negativity. Otherwise, we are creating a hypocritical society.

A society that driven by a competitive drive to be the supreme race leading the country and oppressing everyone else. For instance, As African Americans become wealthy and politically influential, it is very hypocritical to oppress anyone who disagrees with their views. What is next? when Hispanic or Asian Americans rise up to power, are they expected to oppress everyone else?

America Needs unity, empathy, and patriotism. America is the greatest country in the world!

Questions by the professor!

Each of these questions can be linked to the above articles, to stimulate your thinking:

 What will be the impact of the changing demographics on U.S. business and the economy? Is that impact positive or negative? Will the “new deciders” as shown in the video be able to have an impact on business and the economy? How?

 Many manufacturers are taking advantage of the changing demographics by creating and selling ethnic foods. Is this a fair marketing tool?

 With many states now permitting gay marriage, it is important that local municipalities keep up, making it possible for gay couples to marry. Should municipalities be allowed to deny marriage licenses if they choose to do so? If not, why not?
 Immigrants hold jobs that are essential to our economy. Should the U.S. government make it harder for immigrants to come here?

 Immigrants, in fact, make up a large portion of the workforce in industries such as meatpacking and other food production. Shouldn’t they be some of the first in line for protection from the pandemic?

 Traditionally, communities of color are considered criminals if there is any kind of issue with drug addiction. This results in arrests, jail sentences, and prison records. Will this change now that the demographics are changing? Or will there always be the unequal treatment?

 Perhaps recognition of addiction in white communities will improve funding and policies regarding treatment. Is that a good thing?

 Is there a correlation (a relationship) between the increase in required credit score level and gentrification, which displaces families of color? What about the practices of banks where they lie about the credit scores of mortgage applicants? What can be done about it? Anything?

Some Useful “Facts“:

These are the facts recommended by the professor, who happens to be African American.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, in 2014 there were more than 20 million children under 5 years old living in the U.S., and 50.2 % were African-American, Latinx, or Asian. The population of white Americans will drop to 44% in 2060.

To illustrate the reaction to being called a ‘minority, the San Diego, California City Council banned the use of the word in 2001. San Diego is 58% people of color.

Some then-presidential candidates made statements about immigrant populations that are considered offensive, which then caused a business impact. For instance, Donald Trump’s comments about Mexicans resulted in a loss of multimillion dollars in business from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, NASCAR, NBC television, ESPN, Univision, Macy’s, and the PGA (Professional Golf Association).

The National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) states that 33% of venture-backed companies that went public between 2006 and 2012 had at least one immigrant in leadership.
